Day 1 – Flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia & North Cappadocia Tour

Your journey begins with an early morning flight from Istanbul to Cappadocia, one of Türkiye’s most extraordinary and unique landscapes. Upon arrival at the airport, you will be welcomed by your professional guide and transferred to begin your North Cappadocia (Red Tour) exploration.

The tour starts with a visit to the spectacular Göreme Panorama, where you can admire breathtaking views of Cappadocia’s famous fairy chimneys and volcanic valleys.

Continue to Zelve Open Air Museum, one of the most fascinating monastic settlements in Cappadocia. This remarkable valley once served as a large cave community and offers visitors a unique opportunity to explore rock-cut dwellings, tunnels, and ancient churches carved into the soft volcanic rock.

Next, explore Paşabağ (Monks Valley), known for its extraordinary mushroom-shaped fairy chimneys and its historical connection to early Christian hermits who lived in the area.

The tour continues to Devrent Valley, also known as “Imagination Valley,” where natural rock formations resemble animals and various figures shaped by erosion over thousands of years.

Later, visit Avanos, a charming town located along the banks of the Red River and famous for its centuries-old pottery tradition. Here you will have the opportunity to observe local artisans demonstrating traditional pottery-making techniques.

Day 2 – Optional Hot Air Balloon Ride, South Cappadocia Tour & Flight to Ephesus

Start your day early with the opportunity to join an unforgettable hot air balloon flight over Cappadocia. Watching the sunrise above the fairy chimneys, valleys, and unique volcanic landscape is considered one of the most spectacular experiences in Türkiye. (Hot air balloon ride is optional and can be arranged upon request.)

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will meet you for the South Cappadocia Tour.

The first stop is the remarkable Ozkonak Underground City, one of the largest underground settlements in Cappadocia. Carved deep into the volcanic rock, this underground city once served as a refuge for early Christians during times of invasion. Visitors can explore its narrow tunnels, living quarters, storage rooms, kitchens, and ventilation systems.

The tour continues to Pigeon Valley, where thousands of pigeon houses carved into the rock formations can be seen along the valley walls. These pigeon houses were historically used by locals to collect fertilizer for agriculture.

The final stop is Uçhisar Castle, the highest natural viewpoint in Cappadocia, offering breathtaking panoramic views over the surrounding valleys and fairy chimneys.

At the end of the tour, you will be transferred to the airport for your evening flight to Izmir. Upon arrival, our team will welcome you and transfer you to your hotel in Kuşadası or Selçuk for an overnight stay.

Red Valley

Day 3 – Pamukkale & Hierapolis Tour from Ephesus

After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for Pamukkale, one of Türkiye’s most famous natural wonders and a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Known as the “Cotton Castle,” Pamukkale is famous for its dazzling white terraces formed by mineral-rich thermal waters flowing down the hillside for thousands of years.

Upon arrival, you will explore the magnificent Pamukkale Travertines, where you can walk along the natural calcium terraces and enjoy the unique landscape created by thermal springs.

The tour continues with a visit to the ancient city of Hierapolis, an important Roman spa city built above the terraces. Highlights include the impressive Roman Theatre, the ancient Necropolis, Roman baths, and the remains of temples and ancient streets.

Day 4 – Ephesus Tour & Overnight in Ephesus

After breakfast at the hotel, your guide will pick you up for a full-day exploration of Ephesus, one of the best-preserved ancient cities in the world and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.

The tour begins with a visit to the magnificent Ancient City of Ephesus, where you will walk along marble streets surrounded by remarkable monuments from the Roman period. Highlights include the impressive Library of Celsus, the Great Theatre, the Temple of Hadrian, and the historic Curetes Street, offering a fascinating glimpse into the grandeur of this once-thriving Roman city.

Next, you will visit the House of the Virgin Mary, a sacred pilgrimage site believed to be the final residence of Mary, the mother of Jesus. Located on Mount Koressos, this peaceful sanctuary attracts visitors from around the world.

The tour continues with a stop at the Temple of Artemis, once considered one of the Seven Wonders of the Ancient World. Although only a few remains of the temple exist today, the site holds great historical significance.

Day 5 – Pergamon & Troy Tour and Overnight in Çanakkale (Dardanelles)

After breakfast at the hotel, you will depart for the historic region of Pergamon, one of the most important cultural and political centers of the ancient world.

Upon arrival, you will visit the magnificent Ancient City of Pergamon, famous for its dramatic hilltop location and impressive archaeological remains. Highlights include the Acropolis, the remains of the Temple of Trajan, and the ancient theatre, one of the steepest theatres of the ancient world offering spectacular views over the surrounding landscape. Pergamon was also known for its legendary library, which once rivaled the Library of Alexandria.

After exploring Pergamon, the journey continues toward the legendary city of Troy, a UNESCO World Heritage Site made famous by Homer’s epic poem The Iliad and the story of the Trojan War.

During your visit to Ancient Troy, you will explore the ruins of this ancient city with layers of history dating back more than 4,000 years. Visitors can see the remains of ancient city walls, temples, and gates while learning about the fascinating mythology and history surrounding the Trojan War.

Trojan Horse

Upon arrival, you will visit several key locations across the peninsula that tell the story of this historic campaign. Highlights include ANZAC Cove, where Australian and New Zealand troops first landed, Lone Pine Cemetery and Memorial, Chunuk Bair Memorial, and other important battlefields and cemeteries dedicated to the soldiers who lost their lives.

During the tour, your guide will explain the historical events of the Gallipoli Campaign and the impact it had on the nations involved, particularly for Türkiye, Australia, and New Zealand.

After completing the Gallipoli tour, you will continue the journey back to Istanbul. Upon arrival, you will be transferred to your hotel for overnight stay.

Gallipoli Peninsula

ANZAC Cove

Lone Pine Cemetery and Memorial

Brighton Beach

Brighton Beach is one of the first landing areas used by the Allied forces during the Gallipoli Campaign in 1915. The Nek

Johnston’s Jolly is another important battlefield site on the Gallipoli Peninsula where fierce fighting occurred between the Ottoman and Allied forces during the campaign.

After enjoying your day in the city, return to your hotel for an overnight stay in Istanbul.
