Cleopatra’s Pool – Antique Thermal Pool in Pamukkale
Experience the unique thermal waters of Cleopatra Antique Pool, located within the ancient city of Hierapolis near the famous travertines of Pamukkale.
Also known as Cleopatra’s Pool, this historic thermal pool is filled with warm, mineral-rich water believed to have therapeutic properties. What makes this experience truly special is the presence of submerged ancient Roman columns and marble fragments resting at the bottom of the pool, said to have fallen during an earthquake in antiquity.
According to legend, the pool was a gift to Queen Cleopatra, and although this story remains unproven, the site has been a spa and healing center since Roman times.
Visitors can swim among the ancient ruins while enjoying the naturally heated water, making it one of the most memorable experiences in Pamukkale.
